#75: We are back this week with a very special episode... our first LIVE recording! For this episode, we recorded in real time in front of an audience on Zoom. Liz and Bryce had the incredible opportunity to let the conversation be guided by our amazing Phoenix virtual community. Out of this came a beautiful discussion surrounding mental health, recovery stories, and a conversation about the seasons of life. Thank you so much to all that joined live, and thank you to all of you that are tuning into the recording. Check out this episode to hear more of the conversation, including:
- Liz's experience with anxiety, and how now as she's gotten further into recovery she feels safe to feel these emotions and employ the tools she's cultivated over the years.
- Tips from our audience on how they deal with anxiety.
- Hardware versus software: continuing to allow for humility and learning in recovery.
- Reflecting on the growth of the podcast, and allowing for change, like different types of podcast episodes, and live recordings at music festivals.
- The gift of hindsight, and how when we don't have hindsight yet, we can look to the folks in our community for examples and see what they've learned.
- Allowing for ourselves to bloom, because "you wouldn't take a sledgehammer to a rose."
- Liz and Bryce's answers to the question they ask guests at the end of every episode.
