Head Games: Exploring Imposter Syndrome, Cognitive Distortions, and More
Manage episode 288212084 series 2865416
As we near the end of the first quarter of 2021, it's a good time to check in on the goals and resolutions we set for ourselves at the top of the year. Since almost every piece of research on the topic tells us that around 80% of people give up on their goals before the end of January, we wanted to explore the rhyme and reason. WHY do so many people lose momentum or flat out give up on their goals by this time of the year… specifically when they are making traction, no matter how small. In this episode, hosts Alexis and Mary-Beth explore a few “mental games” we play to convince ourselves we aren’t enough.
