Moving through procrastination and old behavioral patterns by addressing mindset and boundaries with Susan and Kim:

  • Reprogramming the old program of lack of follow-through from childhood into your adulthood.
  • Raising your zero to see progress and changes and moving to the next level.
  • Moving past the fears to break the cycle of inconsistency and disappointment through mindset and boundaries.

Key Takeaways:

  • Our goal is feedback: acknowledgment, approval, acceptance, awareness, or validation. There are two pieces that are in competition with each other 100% of the time for that feedback: A Hope for Gain and a Fear of Loss.
  • You are worthy and deserving of having the amazing things you want. None of it needs to come at the cost of another thing you are worthy and deserving of having.
  • To set boundaries, we have to love ourselves in a way that is really true and deep - a sense of worth, value and deservingness that allows us to stick to that boundary no matter what. That's how you can be consistent, stop procrastinating, and stay motivated.

"I want to take that feeling of winning out of the electronics and into my business and into my personal life." — Kim Sutton

About Kim Sutton: Author of the forthcoming book, Chronic Idea Disorder: The Entrepreneur’s Guide to Overcoming Idea Overwhelm, Kim Sutton learned the hard way that just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should. The Positive Productivity podcast launched in October 2016, after Kim recovered from a three-year cycle of chasing everyone else’s successes and severe sleep-deprivation.

In addition to her podcast, Kim is a marketing automation mentor, wife, and mom of 5. She has found her passion and purpose empowering broke, broken, and burnt-out business owners to set up the systems and support they need to make time for the self-care they deserve.
