Why do I feel so uncomfortable talking about sex…?
I don’t know about you, but when it comes to speaking about sex I often found myself feeling really uncomfortable, guilty, or carrying a lot of shame around the topic. In the past few months I have been getting curious as to why this is, and what I am coming to find is that it is a feeling that I share with a lot of people. So with this being said, I thought I would have Natalie Vandenberg from Vivid Psychology & Wellness back on the podcast to chat with me further on the subject. Natalie is a sex and intimacy therapist and could not have been a better guest to explore this topic with me!
In our conversation we explored:
- why our society feels so uncomfortable talking about sex
- how pleasure is always directed towards males in our media and the impact that has on us as inidivudals
- Natalie shared about her personal joureny with her sexual expresison
- misudnerstanding around female sexuality / pleasure
- desire within long term relationships
- connecting with your yoni
- having a lack mindset around sexual energy
- how to get more in touch with the sensual side of ourselves
