Covid-19 and racial inequalities in the UK
Manage episode 270713589 series 2782873
Following on from our episode on George Floyd’s murder and the much-needed conversations it has sparked about racial inequalities in all aspects of our lives, this week we’re focusing on Covid-19 and its effects on Black (and BAME at large) communities in the UK. We talked about the specifics of being a BAME patient, but also the effects on BAME healthcare workers, what this crisis has highlighted about systemic racism in the UK, and what the Opposition should be pressuring on in the next 12 months.
