A) In yet another significant moment, John says he was in the spirit on the Lord’s Day when he heard a loud trumpet sound. There are three crucial points here. First, he was in the spirit, referring to the Holy Spirit, which is not only present when receiving material for holy writings but is also part of walking in the power of the Spirit. Every Christian has access to this as long as it is connected to the purposes of God.
B) Second, on the Lord’s Day, which refers to the first day of the week, by this time in Christian history, had become the day of gathering for Christians.
