We talk with Prof. Robert Rosenberger of the Ga Institute of Technology.
We discuss the recent Supreme Court ruling about "camping", and its prohibition of the use of public spaces. Specifically, we talk about the "hostile design" used by cities and other spaces that is used to discourage people from using public spaces. Of course, this affects the unhoused population the the most, but everyone is affected when benches are not available in parks, etc. We talk about other devices and techniques that are used to discourage "loitering" as a way of control.
Part 2:
We talk with Catherine Woodiwiss, a free lance journalist.
We look at how recent restrictions on abortion rights manifest religious beliefs that are being imposed on the nation as a whole. The outsome has not been good. For example, in Texas, there has been an 11% rise in infant mortality.
