Beth adopted her son Joey soon after he was born. She was delighted to have created her family and was enjoying parenthood. As the adoptive parent, she was unaware of the challenges Joey was experiencing because he was adopted until he attempted suicide as a teenager. This led both Beth and Joey on a journey of discovery, learning to put themselves first and inspiring others to explore the challenges that can come with being adopted. Be inspired xo
