Denise is one of my favourite people on Instagram, but we have yet to meet in real life!
I knew this would be a great conversation and it didn't disappoint, although with all the Irish lilting on both sides, captions may be needed;)
Denise is a Nutritional Therapist and Life Coach on a mission to help her clients discover food freedom and happiness in their mind and body, but is also in her own words, a bit of a messer and dreamer at heart.
She helps her clients navigate fears they may have around food and discover what truly makes them happy and content in their bodies.
Her lived experience makes her a source of nourishment for others in pain and she too, battled confidence issues and anxiety, finding her path to a more fulfilling life through connecting with her true self.
We touch on the following topics:

  • Is it possible to find balance in terms of food and movement especially if we have come from a disordered eating background?
  • How do we start to accept our bodies?
  • How do we begin to reject the diet mentality when it comes to our food.
  • Can movement always be joyful?
  • Why do we as women struggle to rest and feel we always need to be doing 'more'.

Denise gives some really practical advice and we discuss the nuance when it comes to movement, consistency, and doing what we love.
You can hang out with Denise on Instagram and to work with her check out her latest offerings through her website.

Are you simply fed up with hating your body? Are you stuck in the 'earn and burn' cycle when it comes to exercise?
You are not alone and your body is NOT the problem
Please reach out if you would like some support. We both have limited slots for Intuitive Eating and Strength Coaching, so get in touch with Christine or with Ela.
AND if you enjoyed this episode, please share and follow the 'Find Your Strong podcast' and if you have time, write us a short review. It would honestly mean the world. Love to you all, Ela & Christine x
