The second day of the Democratic National Convention ended with big speeches from former First Lady Michelle Obama and former President Barack Obama—both of whom praised Vice President Harris and urged Democrats to get on board with Harris as the nominee. The night was full of forward-looking speeches focused on aspirations to win a majority in Congress and achieve progressive policies under a Harris-Walz administration. The night was marked with division too, as outside in the Chicago streets, pro-Palestinian demonstrators became violent toward police. FOX News Radio’s Josh Kraushaar and Jared Halpern joined the Rundown to analyze what role the Obamas may play in 2024, potential division within the party, and the lines of attack against former President Trump.

There’s always a lot of focus on swing states during election seasons, as both parties are eager to win over undecided voters and hopefully flip it in their direction. While most Democrats are spending this week in Chicago, former President Donald Trump is holding rallies in several battleground states. Today, he visits Asheboro, North Carolina, marking his third visit to the Tar Heel State this month. Republican North Carolina Senator Thom Tillis will join to discuss why he thinks his state will vote red in November and what he thinks Trump needs to do to make sure that happens.

Plus, commentary from former acting DHS Secretary, Chad Wolf.
