"Who is Paul?" episode 2
Manage episode 310571351 series 3061978
Many people look at Paul as a radical Jew who was dramatically converted to a different religion that we now call Christianity, but that's not at all the Paul we learn about in the New Testament. Paul's vision of Jesus being the fulfillment of Israels long awaited ancient promises radically enhanced his perspective of the God of Israel, and in turn would radically change the world forever. For the first time ever, a family of people would stretch across land, ethnicity, culture, religious background and gender. There was now no barriers in the family of God, and this reshaped the way Paul believed God was going to establish His Kingdom on Earth. In this 2nd episode of the "Who is Paul?" series, we go deep into the minds of one of the most influential thinkers and writers in history, and with a front row seat will witness how his revelation on the road to Damascus gave him a fresh new understanding of this new phase of God's rescue plan unfolding right before their eyes.
