Mom Rage (Part 2) with Jen's Mom, Diane
Manage episode 380678045 series 3335597
This is a continuation of the Mom Rage conversation Jen had with Joi last week. We realized that there is the sad but true darker side of rage that can at times turn physical. This episode talks about when the verbal rage gets physical. But, it more importantly talks about what we can do as moms to take better care of ourselves and get in front of a situation.
Diane Ernst gives great tips for all of us who struggle every now and again with extreme exhaustion, isolation, and overwhelm.
We are not at all saying physical rage is an okay response to the above. Please know, we wanted to talk about it so that we all have tools in our toolbox to use BEFORE anything goes beyond the verbal.
This was the article Jen read from in the beginning of the episode: Mom Rage: What It Feels Like and How It Can Affect Kids (psychcentral.com)
