The Beyond Green Podcast is back after our two week, partially ice-storm related, holiday break. This episode features fellow GSC Director David Hostetter and explores the line from a Martin Luther King speech: “The arc of the moral universe is long but it bends toward justice”.
In the podcast, I believe I call it a Martin Luther King quote, which is technically not true as a bit of internet digging has revealed that while King popularized the quote, a Unitarian Pastor named Theodore Parker should be credited with creating the metaphorical framework and the exact line existed in book of ‘Readings from Great Authors’ which was printed in 1918.
Within the podcast we mention this website about open source ecology and today’s music comes from Modest Mouse with their song Styrofoam Boots/It’s All Nice on Ice, Alright.
