Bio - Charity Kahn is a musician, songwriter, teacher, recording artist and certified mindfulness and qigong instructor based in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA. She has released eight albums of award-winning music for children and families with her band “Charity and the JAMband,” two albums for grown-ups with her band “The Invisible Bee,” and a collection of guided meditations for kids. She’s the founder of the company JAM (an acronym for “Joy And Music”), and has brought music, movement and mindfulness to thousands of families around the SF Bay Area and beyond via her beloved classes, camps and family concerts. Charity has also created songs and videos to support animal and Earth activist movements such as Plant Based Treaty, Save the Tule Elk of Point Reyes, and various sanctuary farms. With kindness, compassion, peace, love, and joy as her guiding lights, her intention is to create music and offerings that support people in waking up.
