A mix to mark 25 years of Breakin Bread!

In May 1998, we held the first Breakin Bread club night at the Brix in Brixton. The club spawned a record label, radio shows and numerous gigs all round the world. Due to family commitments we no longer release records but we’re still doing events and radio shows...yep, we’re STILL ROCKIN’!

To mark our quarter-century anniversary we’ve asked DJ’s that have contributed to our radio shows over the years to create celebratory mixes. The first of these mixes is from our great friend in Vienna DJ d.b.h. who thought it was only right to put together a mix of his favourite tunes from the Breakin Bread label over the years

All of our styles are on this mix - soul, funk, hip-hop, beats and breaks!

A massive thanks to DJ d.b.h. and all the DJ’s that have contributed to our radio shows and events over the last 25 years!

d.b.h is DJ and producer of the Austrian turntablist and beats crew Restless Leg Syndrome and the legendary hip-hop crew Total Chaos.
