Cardano is the 10th largest cryptocurrency by market cap, sitting around 22.5 Billion dollars. That’s quite a number given its ICO raised approximately $62 million from 2015-2017 at a price of $0.0024. Cardano is part of what I call the old guard of cryptocurrencies launched after Ethereum, by Charles Hoskinson, which launched the era of smart contracts. Much has changed from that period, speculation, ICOs, NFT crazy, DeFi Summer, the meme coin craze, and now RWA, or Real World Assets.
Today, Corporate crypto treasuries have grown to $100 billion, but most are still managed with spreadsheets and scattered wallets that lack transparency and control. The questions today are what can we do about this next phase to keep things transparent and clear for all parties participating.
