We will look at the decades old disinformation campaign sponsored by big petroleum pushing the lie that global warming is overblown, a hoax, a 'Chicken Little' panic. This campaign has lulled the public into a false sense of safety. Just like big tobacco, the petroleum industry should be held accountable for the death and destruction they have caused. This is our big story. Story #2 will focus on a recent SCOTUS decision. The Supreme Court refused to hear the case of Doe v. McKesson, thus sanctifying the lower courts decision which held that protest organizers can be held liable for the actions of anyone present at the scene.
