EP 18. How to complete an Ironman. I did and so can you!
From the book - From Zero to Ironman Triathlon
A 4 month inspirational and entertaining journey from zero to Ironman.
Author - Jem Bolt
I did an ironman triathlon from a standing start, and then wrote a book about it to not only help others but also inspire and entertain others. I had done a single short course sprint triathlon and took on an Ironman with 4 months of training. This is the story, the learnings, all the things nobody tells you, and the research and insights, to help motivate, inspire, entertain and help you believe "Anything is possible" in your life.
I entered while drinking beer on holiday. It seemed like a great idea at the time. But then the pressure was on. The race was in 4 months, most people train in 6. Motivating yourself, having a practical plan, getting buy-in from the family, and executing the plan are all key to success, but totally worth it. I did it. You can too.
226km in one day. Regain the form of your youth and fitness you never dreamed was possible.
