think about every memory, every moment, every trauma you have experienced being stored as a compartment filed away in your subconscious mind. every time somethings comes up for you, something that “triggers” this memory you react or respond from this compartment.

this is automatic and not something we consciously think about.

what meditation allows for is the release of these compartments.

so when you meditate, and journal your experiences afterwards, note down any tension or pressure you feel and where you are feeling it. for example - tension behind the left eye, at the base of the skull or the crown. over time these will become more and more apparent and will correlate with memories or thoughts that come up for you during the meditation.

the tension you experience is a form of release.

the more that you practice meditation, the more compartments are released, the less affected you are by things outside of yourself, the less certain people or situations bother you, the less “triggers” you have.

this takes time, and is not something to be rushed through, journalling helps to navigate these releases and allows for you to verbalise in the moment how it is happening for you.

to be free from all that is holding you back, we may not even know the simple little switches that are holding us back and this is a way of you growing and expanding and being the master & creator of your universe within.
