Frank Tripp follows Mamie Greene for business and for his pleasure. He watches his client’s daughter to keep her from scandal. She is the definition of “attenzione, pickpocket” however for a good cause!
We love a good secret identity plot especially when both main characters have been attracted to each other for a while. When Frank’s secret is out, will his good deeds be enough for Mamie to forgive him?
Mamie’s father keeps reminding her of her marriage to his best friend’s son, an agreement since birth. She wants to decide if she wants marriage at all. As overly protective as he was with his girls from trouble, we love how he protected her from a horrid future.
Mamie is amazing! She does what’s needed to help those less fortunate. She sort of commanded Frank to be a wronged woman’s lawyer, and it was the perfect close proximity situation to help them know how honorable they are.
