Our next guest Ziauddin Yousafzai is best known as the father of Malala Yousafzai, the youngest-ever Nobel laureate. He is an educator, activist, author and human rights campaigner. Zia has been a strong advocate for education in Pakistan, especially when girls education was undermined by the Taliban.
In our converation, Ziauddin shared with us unheard stories about his childhood. We spoke about the patriarchy, and what it means to be a feminist. We also asked him personal questions regarding Malala’s marriage and the challenges he faced growing up with a stutter.
