“When you think about love, what stories have you carried with you — and where did they come from? A song? A movie? Something you were told growing up?”
Take a few quiet minutes to reflect on the romantic beliefs you’ve internalized over the years.
Which ones shaped how you loved — or stayed — in your relationship?
Are there ideas that no longer feel true?
Which ones still feel like a part of you, and which ones are asking to be rewritten?
You’re not blaming yourself — you’re just getting curious. Because healing your story often starts with noticing who helped write it.
