Late one August night, in 2010, tonight’s guest, Mason, was sleeping in a small tent, in a valley, about a mile back in the woods from his house. He had been sleeping when, suddenly, he was jolted awake by a strange sound. For 10 to 15 seconds, he laid there trying to figure out if he’s just been dreaming, when he heard the sound, or if the sound had been made by something close to the tent. It wasn’t long before he got his answer. He wasn’t dreaming that he heard the sound. What he’d heard was in the valley with him. Making matters worse, he could hear that it was approaching his tent!
