Smartmatic, a voting machine company at the center of controversy back in 2020, is currently suing Fox News and Newsmax for defamation due to their coverage of the 2020 election. Last week, a grand jury indicted two Smartmatic executives who are accused of participating in a $1 million money laundering scheme that bribed an election official in the Philippines. Who are these executives, and why were they indicted? Plus, the European Union tried to get Elon Musk to censor Donald Trump ahead of the pair’s interview on X. J. President of Judicial Watch Tom Fitton joins to break down this lawsuit. Plus, Blaze News investigative reporter Steve Baker joins to break down the investigation into the pipe bomb planted at the DNC while Kamala Harris was there on January 6, a shady finding in the investigation into the Trump assassination attempt, and Donald Trump’s $100 million lawsuit against the DOJ over the department’s 2022 raid on his property in Mar-a-Lago. Christopher Bedford, Blaze Media’s senior editor for politics and Washington correspondent, joins to discuss how the Trump campaign’s strategy has adapted to current events. He also breaks down JD Vance’s criticisms of Kamala Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz. Donald Trump also returned to X for the first time since 2021. Jill Savage and James Poulos, BlazeTV host of “Zero Hour,” discuss.
