Our main topic:The Satanic Panic-a moral panic consisting of over 12,000 unsubstantiated cases of Satanic ritual abuse starting in the US in the 80s.
Of those, investigating police were not able to substantiate any allegations of organized cult abuse. A lot to unpack and multiple facets, but we're focuing on the musical aspect in this episode: the 80's with Ozzy, Judas Priest, amd the PMRC, all the way to today, it's still a thing-music has been a prime scapegoat.
