Recovery is an important part of returning to work after a serious work injury. The ideal outcome for a workers' compensation claim is to help an individual fully recover from their injury and help them safely return to work. But what is involved with facilitating that healing process and recovery? Both physical and mental recovery is involved for an individual to fully return to work and have the confidence to perform again in their occupation.

In our latest podcast episode, we interviewed an inspiring leader and ambitious industry entrepreneur, Debra Livingston, CEO & Founder of ReEmployAbility. Debra shares her journey starting her own company in the workers’ compensation industry, a return-to-work program that offers individuals safe and meaningful work in their community, encourages faster recuperation, and improves workplace morale. Not only does this program benefit the individual while they recover, but it also allows employers to retain valuable employees that are highly trained for their work. Debra also shares how empathetic leadership has helped her create a company culture that facilitates growth and talent retention.
