Today we are talking with Pastor Theodore Rollins of Suwannee Worship Center regarding the state of the black church. We discuss how the black church went from being a staple in the community to one of the most criticized parts of the community. We discuss the emergence of megachurches and what that means for the black community. We also talk about how black churches used to be the driving force in political change for blacks but no longer holds that position in our society and why that is. We discuss how the church has lost its mission. Pastor Ted talks about what churches have to do in a post-COVID-19 world in order to grow membership and bring back the relevance of the church. Pastor Ted wraps up the conversation with a message on how to exercise their faith moving forward in life.
