Seguro que has escuchado muchas veces el consejo de que hay que tener objetivos en la vida. A menudo, estos objetivos se describen como resultados. Hoy quiero hablar de una película llamada “¡Bienvenido Míster Marshall!”, de 1953. Es una película muy interesante. Nos ayuda a entender mejor cómo era la España de la posguerra y su relación con el mundo exterior. La película fue dirigida por Luis García Berlanga, un director muy reconocido. Es una sátira. Y la sátira es un género que utiliza el humor para criticar algo. Antes de entrar en detalles, es importante entender el contexto histórico. Como mencioné antes, la película se llama “¡Bienvenido Míster Marshall!”. El Plan Marshall fue un programa de Estados Unidos para reconstruir las economías europeas después de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Aunque España no se benefició directamente, la película imagina un escenario donde un pequeño pueblo español espera recibir ayuda de los americanos. Hoy te voy a contar una historia muy interesante sobre el vino (no, no me refiero al pasado del verbo venir), y cómo un insecto muy pequeño casi destruyó todos los viñedos (que son los lugares donde se cultivan las uvas) de Europa. Este insecto se llama filoxera. Aunque hoy en día no es muy conocido, en el siglo XIX causó muchos problemas. Así que, si te gusta el vino o simplemente las historias curiosas, ¡presta atención! La filoxera es un insecto muy pequeño, parecido a un pulgón (un insecto que se alimenta de vides). La filoxera se alimenta de las raíces de las vides.
