In just one year, my team increased our production by 20%. Here’s the simple change we made to do it.

Last year around this time, I was asked to be on a breakout panel with the amazing James Shaw, a BOLD coach. He had me up on stage and put my numbers up there for all of my 300 closest Realtor friends to see. It was painful, eye-opening, and awesome all at the same time.
The exercise James was performing was straight out of “The Millionaire Real Estate Agent” by Gary Keller. It was about the importance of your mets and having your database properly categorized.
Before that day, my database was kind of a mess. I had thrown all the people that I had ever met through 15 years of real estate all in the same place. Everyone was getting the same touches and quite frankly, I was probably wasting a lot of time and money on people I didn’t even know.
Over the last few years, Gary Keller has been talking about having a membership database and a concierge service and wow, that sure hit me. That’s how we operate. Now I was given permission to do what we already love and be who we already are. It has made a big difference.
Our numbers and production increased by 20% from 2015 to 2016.
From 2015 to 2016, our numbers and production increased by 20% all because we got super intentional about properly categorizing our database. Now, all 1,053 of our mets are in constant contact with us. These people are past clients, friends, family, and people who like us, trust us, and would pick up the phone if we called them.
Make sure organizing your database is at the top of your list in 2017. For more information, read pages 133 to 147 in “The Millionaire Real Estate Agent” and then re-read it. This is how you can get your real estate career humming along at a great pace. You’ll be happy with the results.
If you have any questions for me, don’t hesitate to give me a call or send me an email. I would love to hear from you.
