Join Pearl and Jordyn this week as they talk about grief and loss.
The two share their celebrations, and a book update before diving deeper. Once they get going our hosts talk about their personal experiences and relationships with grief and loss. They discuss how they got where they are now and why they got there in the first place. Jordyn gives us all a lesson on invisible loss, and secondary loss while the two use these terms to look deeper at the loss of past versions of themselves, or dreams, and talk about the difficulty that can come with allowing yourself space to grieve all types of loss. Pearl shares a mason jar analogy as well as a pencil analogy and the two, of course, dip their toes into a discussion around the impact capitalism has on an individual's ability to grieve fully. This episode wraps up with some tips and tricks Jordyn has for us all about how one can get their grief needs met, and what that could look like.

Books: The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes; The Soulmate Equation by Christina Lauren
Music: Bigger Than the Whole Sky by Twift
