This is a special interview for me. Dr. McDurmon has written several books that have greatly expanded my thinking on the scope of the great commission. The biggest danger to consuming his work is that it will depress you with the magnitude of work there is to be done and decisions to be made about where to start and how; it's called analysis paralysis. The biggest benefit is that he will encourage you to take action doing the next right thing every day (no matter how small) because there's no time to waste. Joel McDurmon has worked for over a decade as a public theologian. He has authored or edited over a score of books and lectured internationally. Joel has featured in variety of other media on topics as diverse as theology, law, history, economics, and philosophy. Joel lives near Atlanta, Georgia with his wife and five children.
