In today's episode of the show, I chop it up with Jim Hallinan. Jim is a high school phys ed teacher turned nutrition coach who helps high-performing individuals find the energy they've been looking for through smart food choices, lifestyle tweaks, and mindset shifts.

In this conversation, we tackle some of the most pressing issues facing our youth today, from the glaring gaps in high school nutrition and fitness education to the everyday challenges kids face with their eating behaviors.

We talk about how the conveniences of food delivery and general resistance to making homemade meals is steering kids away from making healthy food choices, how parents can set their kids up for success, the impact of diet on the immune system, and debunk some of the biggest nutrition misconceptions that cloud our judgment.

We also talk about the benefits of calorie tracking, the need to set realistic expectations, why dining out may be sabotaging your weight loss efforts, and we call out the BS on social media, challenging the myths of quick fixes and the illusion that likes and followers equate to legitimate expertise and business acumen.
