Peace All! This episode we discuss the affect Leptin, Ghrelin and Insulin have on the body. Fat storage and weight loss are directly affected by these powerful hormones. Leptin tells the brain "I'm satisfied you can stop eating" Grhelin come from the gastrointestinal tract and signal that the digestion is complete and the stomach is empty- #StomachGrowling Insulin is released after a meal to clear the body of excess glucose-sugar in the bloodstream. Insulin prevents the body from burning fat as it is the fat storing hormone.
