Project Serpo is an alleged top-secret exchange program between the United States government and an extraterrestrial civilization from a planet called Serpo, located in the Zeta Reticuli star system. The story first emerged in public discourse in the early 2000s through a series of anonymous emails sent to a UFO discussion group. According to these emails, the exchange program began in the 1960s, following the recovery of an alien spacecraft in Roswell, New Mexico, in 1947.
