Not only is she co-author of a forthcoming book on the Mountain Meadows Massacre, but for four years she served as executive director of the Mormon History Association. Thus, she is well known and highly respected within the Mormon scholarly community. She comes along at a time when the publishing world is both exciting and challenging in unprecedented ways. But Brown is clearly up to the job!
