In this episode, I interviewed Francisco Javier Martínez Moreno, Chief Supply Chain Officer of Costa Coffee. We dived into the personal inflection points that shaped his journey as a supply chain professional and explored how adaptability and exposure to diverse cultures can lead to transforming operations for sustained value. Francisco shared his insights on how embracing challenges can shift the paradigm of supply chain management and the role of diversity in supporting global expansion, sharing a case study on how they did it in Costa Coffee.
Moreover, we also discussed the power of end-to-end supply chain management and the new methods within the supply chain for a more efficient operation. Francisco also shared that by applying a comprehensive understanding of the value chain, leaders can create a positive environment, thereby increasing overall performance.
