In last week’s episode of The Golden Hour, we delved into newborn feeding essentials. This week, we’re shifting the spotlight to you! Join us as we chat with Irene Liu, co-founder and CEO of Chiyo (https://wearechiyo.com/), a meal delivery service dedicated to supporting moms through every stage—fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum. Together, we’ll explore how nourishing your body can empower your journey from preconception to motherhood. Whether you're trying to conceive, nurturing a growing bump, or navigating postpartum recovery, this episode is packed with insights to help you thrive.

Irene Liu was born and raised in Southern California to Taiwanese parents, Irene is on a mission to reintroduce the importance of nourishing the mother. Initially working at Airbnb and Bain & Co., it was her work for a food access non-profit on the South Side of Chicago and research at Harvard University on supermarket nutrition and systemic issues driving obesity that led her to the food space. Now, she is committed to bringing back-to-life old recipes and customs that help with fertility to postpartum nourishment through Eastern food therapy. Irene holds a bachelor of science in business administration from the University of California Berkeley, a master's degree in public policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, and an MBA from the Wharton School University of Pennsylvania. She lives in New York City with her husband.
