Diverse teams provide many voices for a leader to hear. This provides viewpoints and perspectives that can help leaders solve their biggest challenges. In this conversation with Ita Udoaka, he shares ideas on how to draw out the voices on your team. God created diversity and celebrates diversity. Leaders invite the different voices to feel heard and valued in response to God's creation. How do you lead your team to achieve the results you need without sacrificing people along the way? Ever have questions about hard, soft or even toxic leadership styles? Or maybe you struggle knowing when to be hard and when to be soft? I enjoyed diving into this topic with Ita Udoaka, a gifted leader both at work and at Frontline. We're in a series on leadership as men and as followers of Jesus. Coming up, we'll continue with episodes 3 and 4 of this series on leadership looking at diverse teams and leading when it hurts. Frontline Men's Ministry Podcast

Men's Ministry Podcast is launching its second season starting with a series on Leadership. We get to hear the leadership insights from Ita Udoaka a seasoned leader in both church and non-church contexts. He has wisdom to share with us so we've laid out several episodes to better equip us from the leadership experience he's gained. This first episode looks at the identity of a leader, especially as a person who rejects passivity. So much of our moments of failing to speak up or act come because it's an easy button. We avoid responsibility and culpability by doing or saying nothing. But God has called men to step up and lead out to love others as themselves. If you've got feedback or questions for us, reach out at men@frontlinecommunity.org.…
After a long break, our men's podcast is back with a testimony about God's power to save. If you are a follower of Jesus, you probably have people in your life you feel concerned about because they do not believe in Jesus. As one who believes that there is a heaven and hell after death and your destination depends on faith in Jesus, you may pray for and worry about those you love and those you don't love. This conversation is a powerful story of God working in the last moments of a life to lead them to Christ. If you have feedback, prayer requests, questions, or just want to get in touch with us, reach out to Chris or Jay by emailing men@frontlinecommunity.org. www.frontlinecommunity.org…

This is a special conversation with Brant Gilkison a military spouse in the KMCC and the opportunities he has to invest in his two sons. He points us to awesome ways that we can take intentional steps of impact for kids. If you are a dad, this episode will challenge you to invest in your children. If you are not a dad, this episode will give you tips in helping shape future generations you may have the opportunity to serve. If you have feedback or questions, reach out at men@frontlinecommunity.org. Questions for thought: 1. How can you intentionally invest in a child, a son/daughter, niece/nephew, etc? 2. Who is a person who modelled investing in future generations well to you? 3. Brant talks about showing up in just a small way for a child. What's a small way you could do that too?…

Chris Opiela shares a devotion on how men can grow in devoting themselves to Jesus, to love Him with their Heart, soul, mind, and strength. When we live devoted to Jesus, it changes how we think about and act in our time, work, family, goals, minds and more. To grow in love, we reflect on the depth of God's love for us. The more forgiven I feel, the greater love I act on. The more grace I've received, the greater devotion I give. Going Deeper, ask yourself: Who is a person in your life that is an example of love and devotion to Jesus? What is something that you would need to change in your life to follow in that person’s footsteps? Chris described a moment in his life where he decided he would give everything to Jesus. What are you still holding onto in your life that is keeping you from living as a fully devoted disciple of Jesus? Josh Ramsay and Erik Sonnenberg sat down in sunny Florida for a special Frontline Alumni edition of our men's ministry podcast. There's a lie out there that says a real man pulls himself up by his own bootstraps and make something of himself. But that's not the way of following Jesus. Men need other men. We're made for community. And men need to be able to say, "I need help," and hear across the table, "Me too." Josh and Erik are sharing how God has used other men to show them the difference Jesus can make in their lives and how He can do that for you too. If you need help finding something like this in Germany check out our website, frontlinecommunity.org , or email men@frontlinecommunity.org. In the USA, reach out to Josh or Erik .…

This week we get to listen in on a conversation about hope with Frontline's Production Manager Marcus Gradney. Marcus and his wife Irina have two sons, Lukas and Liam, and a daughter named Eliana. In his role at the church, Marcus helps bring the church’s message to a broader audience while continuing to inspire and inform current members through creative media. What's more impressive than what he is doing is how he is doing it: with contagious joy and hope. He shares with us some of the ways he stays hopeful despite adversity. Today's episode presents a short devotional from the beginning of Psalm 107. The short summary is, I asked...God answered. God desires us to bring all of our challenges to Him. And once He responds, we can bring gratitude back as a way to say thank you for His faithful, never-ending loyal love. We all face issues and solutions at the same time. So our prayers with God should be a mix of requests and solutions. Take some time today to connect with God. What do you need to bring to Him? Take some time to say thank you. What's happened in the last 24 hours to thank Him about? Check out Psalm 107. Reach out with prayer requests at men@frontlinecommunity.org . If you would like to connect about what's going on at Frontline Community Church, check out our website at frontlinecommunity.org or our Facebook page .…

Jon Mroos, Frontline's Lead Pastor, shares God's truths from the Bible on how to overcome the occasional, the habit, or even the addiction of viewing pornography. According to a Pure Desire Ministries study , 68% of church-going men view pornography regularly. Many times men seek to medicate the pain of rejection and failure in an environment where rejection is impossible. Pornography offers fake, pseudo-acceptance. When God's acceptance is experienced as greater than that pseudo-acceptance, men can start walking in victory over pornography. If you need a place to start reflecting on God's acceptance, use verses from the Bible like Romans 8:1 and 8:31-39 . Start here. Every day start here. When you’ve faced rejection, go to these verses. Write them out with a pen or pencil until you can say them. Pray these words out to God. Think on these words over and over. Let the acceptance of God through Jesus Christ transform the way you view yourself and the world so that when facing our challenges and tempted to numb the pain away with sexual arousal and pornographic control, you turn to the living God who loves you unconditionally through faith in Jesus. Recommended Resource: Date Your Wife by Justin Buzzard If you've got feedback for Jon or have a prayer request, email us at men@frontlinecommunity.org . If you'd like to join a men's bible study for community and support, check out Frontline's Groups page.…

Jesus said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35). Taking it a step further, He also called His disciples to have a heart ambition to serve, to be last, to be servant to all. One man who has embodied that heart to serve lately at Frontline is Will Syverson. Will serves several hours each month in the children's ministry along with helping as often as he can with other projects at the church. In December he also volunteered to help other organisations in the KMC. Will's example of following Jesus to help others can inspire all of us as we consider who we can invest time into. Reach out to us at men@frontlinecommunity.org with prayer requests or with answers to the application questions at the end of the episode. Who will you invest time and resources into for their cares and dreams?…

Frontline Men, I've been meditating on Ephesians 4:32 for several weeks, and I wanted to let you in on this verse that has been helping me survive the tension and stress of these disconnected times. Two points for us: Be Kind, it only takes a minute. Forgive others as Christ forgave you. What relationship do you need to inject kindness into? Who do you need to forgive? Reach out to your pastors with feedback, questions, or prayer requests at men@frontlinecommunity.org.…
We spent time with Will Nockles to learn his story of learning how to receive God's forgiveness and love. Have a prayer request or feedback? Send it to us at men@frontlinecommunity.org.…
We sat down with Cameron Chiasson and discussed how God speaks to us and prepares us through the Bible. God desires you to complete the good works He planned for you. And He is always preparing you for what's ahead.
