The All Blacks won 24-19 and the lads recap how they got the win (1:05). Wayne Barnes microphone and the rare insights heard throughout the match broadcast comes up (3:20) before the focus shifts to ranking the 2016 season out of 10 and why (4:51). Player of the year is debated (7:32) before the biggest disappointments from 2016 are discussed (10:09). Current strengths and weaknesses are also layed out while looking ahead to the 2017 Lions tour of NZ (15:00). The idea of a Possible v Probables or North Island v South Island match as a Lions tour warm up is raised (18:10) before the lads then answer if this was a suprise year in terms of success (19:07). Phil Metcalfe is once again joined by Jordan Clarke & Chris Metcalfe to discuss what many predicted would be the biggest Test of the year: All Blacks v Ireland in Dublin. Chris was there and talks about the occasion (0:49) then the lads discuss if the match reached their expectations (2:40) and recap the stunning defensive effort from the All Blacks (3:40). Ireland's inability to score a try is highlighted (5:09) before Chris raises the intelligent cynicism displayed by the All Blacks when under pressure (7:50). Phil asks if the occasion got on top of the Irish players (8:56) and poor Irish decision making is also questioned (11:25). Jaco Peyper's day out with the whistle is reviewed (12:25) before Chris reminds us all of the 3 basics to win a rugby match where Ireland where superior in just 2 (14:45).
