Jordan Nicholson is an extremely talented photographer, illustrator, DJ, and all-around creative mastermind. While he’s known for his innate creative abilities, having photographed the likes of Outkast, SZA, Kid Cudi, Jay Park, and Drake, etc. (he’s also collaborated with artists such as Macklemore and Pharrell, and has consulted for brands such as Nike, Uber, LiveNation, and Complex), Jordan is inspirational way beyond his accomplishments as a creative. He’s by far the most positive individual you'll ever come across in life, and his story is absolutely amazing.
In this episode, Jordan gives us an intimate look at his journey beginning with his upbringing in South Seattle. Jordan shares with us his deep love for his hometown, he reflects on his half-black, half-Chinese roots, and he walks us through the intricacies of growing up with a disability called TAR Syndrome.
We hope you enjoy this conversation with Jordan as he drops some gems and shows his appreciation for the coincidences that led a South Seattle kid around the world to pursue what he loves.
