PATREON UNLOCKED: HOLIDAY BONUS EPISODE (THE LAWSON FAMILY MASSACRE)
Manage episode 350731742 series 2877184
As a special thank-you to our listeners, we are unlocking a patron-only bonus episode for all of you!
In this Christmas-themed bonus episode, we discuss the Lawson Family Massacre that took place on December 25, 1929 in small town North Carolina. Charles Lawson, the family patriarch, seemingly snaps on Christmas day and decides to take the lives of almost his entire family and then turns the gun on himself.
This case has just as many questions as it does answers which we can only speculate about: Was the act premeditated? Was it caused by a head injury Charles sustained months before the murders that caused him to slowly lose his mind? Or was there something more sinister at play?
We hope you enjoy this holiday gift from us and we wish you a safe and happy holiday season!
