When something happens to your child at school, what do you do? And does it work? Schools sometimes think they know best. That's not the case...you know best. As a parent, you have a responsibility to fight for what's right for your kids.

In this episode, we discuss a parents responsibility to advocate for his or her child and the education they receive. It's not enough to just take what the government run public schools tell you is available. You've got to take a stand and do what's best for your child, even if that means fighting the powers that be to make a difference.

Family advocate and lobbyist Tera Myers is our guest on this episode. Tera fought the battle, and talks about it here, on the Clearly Christian podcast. Tera is a "Mom on a Mission". She is a mother of a special needs son, a needs-based special education change maker, and a lobbyist fighting for the delivery of a fair and inclusive education for all.

You may have seen her in her speech to the 2020 Republican Party National Convention on this topic. If you missed it, then you won't want to miss this episode of the Clearly Christian with Dr. Cy Smith podcast
