GESPONSERT
Hilde Mosse comes from one of the wealthiest families in Berlin and stands to inherit an enormous fortune. But she longs for something more meaningful than the luxurious lifestyle her family provides. So Hilde decides to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor. As the Nazis take power in Germany and the Mosse family is forced to flee, Dr. Hilde Mosse lands in New York having nearly lost everything.. She finds her calling treating the mental health of Black youth – and the symptoms of a racist system. In addition to photographs, school records, and correspondence spanning Hilde Mosse’s entire lifetime, the Mosse Family Collection in the LBI Archives includes the diaries she kept between 1928 and 1934, from the ages of 16-22. Hilde’s papers are just part of the extensive holdings related to the Mosse Family at LBI. Learn more at lbi.org/hilde . Exile is a production of the Leo Baeck Institute, New York and Antica Productions. It’s narrated by Mandy Patinkin. This episode was written by Lauren Armstrong-Carter. The entire team at Antica Productions and Leo Baeck Institute is deeply saddened by the passing of our Executive Producer, Bernie Blum. We would not have been able to tell these stories without Bernie's generous support. Bernie was also President Emeritus of LBI and Exile would not exist without his energetic and visionary leadership. We extend our condolences to his entire family. May his memory be a blessing. This episode of Exile is made possible in part by a grant from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany, which is supported by the German Federal Ministry of Finance and the Foundation Remembrance, Responsibility and Future.…

×This week we have a return guest, Paul Capatosto, who tells us about his journey through grad school. We talk about our individual experiences/thoughts about returning to school, and then return to the infamous 'fighting animals in a room' scenario. Join us as we uncover the truth about Grad school, Art, and fork versatility in a life or death fight.…
We have a guest this week, Spense, who teaches us about home brewing. Our other guest, Black "Troy" Jack, mentions that he is an electrician. Witty banter ensues.
Hah! That title is a ruse, we aren't talking about the next installment of that adrenaline explosion disguised as one of the greatest movie franchises! Instead we're talking about self-driving cars and what the present and future looks like. We do get slightly sidetracked, but it's about LoL's URF mode. Which is like crack for people that play LoL.…

The conclusion of Episode 10's conversation
We discuss what animals we could take in a fight with our guest Gavin. That sums up most everything in this episode.
Join us after a 3 week hiatus! Andrew tells us his book idea, we delve into the mysteries of 3D printing, and brainstorm our newest venture. Pig farming, with a twist. Throughout the episode we also lay the groundwork for one of next week's topic.
Andrew, Rachel, Bill and Jeff look into the future. Though our tangents may be at greater angles than usual, we still ask the tough questions. How many people would bone their own clone, are windmills good, and how far could science go with genetic engineering. Join us as we discuss the World of Tomorrow!…
We bring two more members of our League of Legends team on the podcast to talk about this entertaining and contentious videogame. Here are links for those who want to know more about the game; their home website and a video explaining it in 3 minutes here. Follow us on Twitter and Facebook.
We have two guests with us, Paul (IMDB Vimeo) and Rachel (Twitter). The topics range from monsters and aliens to apps and programming, with a healthy dose of jocularity.
What's the most bacon you ate in one night? Bacon Weave? Check. Golden Nugget? Check. Individual strips of bacon? Double check! Enjoy listening to some of our collegiate culinary experiences and a few miscellaneous shenanigans.
