After Eight Show - New Music You Just Don't Hear Anywhere Else!

The After Eight Show goes out on 19 different radio stations in 5 countries and is followed by over 10,000 people on Twitter.
We had a new feature on the show starting this week - our Album of the Week. Each week, we will be playing three tracks from an interesting, newly-released album and we will invite the artist(s) to introduce it themselves. The inaugural one was Are We Doing This? by Dead Anyway.

It was introduced by Kate Arnold who writes the lyrics and provides the vocals. It's an extraordinary album!
And our Luvva Cover is pretty special too! Mark Kozelek, aka Sun Kil Moon and leader of Red House Painters, is another extraordinary songwriter. Missed my Heart is a very strong song with a lyric telling the story of a murder from the point of view of the protagonist. Phoebe Bridgers has done a cover version of this song which, if anything, heightens the emotions that you will feel when you listen to the song. Give it a listen!
