Dr. Tyrone Michael Bates, Jr. is from Kansas City, Kansas by way of Chicago, Illinois. He is a proud husband to Jazzee and father to six beautiful children!
Dr. Bates is the CEO and Founder of True Empowering, LLC., a consulting firm operating nationally for the past ten years that provides tailored solutions for growing organizational culture and communication across cultural lines.
Dr. Bates has an extensive academic and educator background, and currently serves on the advising board for The B.L.O.C. (Brothers Liberating Our Community), The Jegna Klub, and KC REI Alumni. He is an active member of 24 years of his fraternity Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. where he serves as advisor for an undergraduate chapter and a member of the educational committee.
Ultimately, Dr. Bates is a visionary leader dedicated to empowering individuals and organizations to reach their full potential and continues to pave the way for positive change and transformation in the realms of personal growth, organizational development, and social justice.
