SCRT podcast was an idea that I shared with a close friend of mine Ken “Finn” Finnigan. I came out of alcohol rehab in July of 2023. Finn had been one of my biggest supporters and we talked everyday. In October of 2023 we decided to make it happen and start a podcast based on helping others who were struggling. Unfortunately Finn was killed on his motorcycle on 6/1/2024. Before Finn left us he introduced me to a friend of his Kelly “Kells” Gibson. At the time Kells was in the early stages of her recovery from an opioid addiction. Kells and I hit it off immediately and became family. All three of us also suffered from mental health issues on top of our addictions. We wanted to provide a platform for anyone to tell their story in the hopes of helping others . The three of us decided to put our plan into action. Slowly over time things have evolved and changed. With the death of Finn and life getting in the way this is a one man show. I have the luck of meeting some great people throughout my life who come visit and co-host with me. I am a lucky man. We are open for anyone who has a story that could have the potential to help others.
