Manage episode 379560762 series 3519932
In this episode, I am joined by Elyse Resch, co-author of Intuitive Eating, now in its 4th edition. She is a nutrition therapist and Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. We talk about her book, Intuitive Eating, and how they have updated it over the years to add topics such as eating disorders and stigmatizing language in the 2nd and 3rd editions, and introducing social justice and weight stigma in the 4th edition. She encourages people to take a look at their own history with diet culture. She is hopeful that people can have less judgment and more education and unlearning of diet culture.
