Why you should strive for fulfillment vs. chasing happiness

And the FREEDOM that comes with fulfillment

Striving for happiness led me to burnout twice and it took me years to publicly share this

Tony Robbins once shared, “Our mind was designed to survive not to make us happy it’s 2 million yrs old”

It has not changed in structure and performance

It’s still designed to keep us alive not happy lol

It doesn’t matter when you fulfill the goal the intensity of the happiness WILL pass with time and most of the time faster than we desire

So I think we are clear happiness is temporary being a result of something happening

So let’s talk more on the freedom of fulfillment

Definition of fulfillment: A deeper sense of purpose, meaning, and satisfaction derived from aligning one's actions and values with a greater sense of purpose.

Fulfillment comes from WHY we do something … to contributing to something bigger than yourself

The key is happiness isn’t something external that someone gives someone - it’s something internal that you give yourself through the experience

Hence me jumping out of an airplane is pure bliss

To someone else terrifying the opposite of happy
There is an illusion to chasing happiness I share in this show.
Along with the power of fulfillment that fuels motivation and perseverance
Fulfillment creates:
Deeper sense of purpose
Long-term satisfaction
Personal growth and development
Resilience and coping
Authenticity and self-expression
Positive impact on others
While happiness can still be an important aspect of life, focusing on fulfillment offers a more holistic and fulfilling approach to overall well-being and personal growth. It allows you to embrace the complexities of life, pursue meaningful goals, and find contentment in the journey rather than relying solely on fleeting moments of happiness.

Here are 10 strategies and practices to help you cultivate fulfillment: (I do go into greater detail in the video and on the podcast with these worth listening and taking notes to experience more fulfillment in both business and personal life.

Reflect on your values and passions
Set meaningful goals that fuel your VISION
Practice gratitude
Engage in activities that bring you joy
Seek personal growth and learning
Nurture relationships and connections
Practice self-care and well-being
Embrace challenges and embrace failure
Contribute to others and your community
Practice mindfulness and presence
Remember, cultivating fulfillment is a personal journey, and it will require experimentation and adaptation.

Find what works best for you, and be open to exploring

new strategies and practices along the way.
