What does it mean that the Bible is “living and active”? In this conversation, Dot and Cara wrestle with Hebrews 4:12 and explore why Scripture is far more than a book of rules. They share how God’s Word reveals His heart, brings life, and even exposes what’s hidden in our own hearts. Don’t miss Dot’s personal story at the end, a profound reminder of God’s love that will stick with you. Grab your Bible, coffee, (and maybe a tissue today!) and join the conversation.

Scripture Verse:
Hebrews 4:12 (NASB1995) “For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”

Revelation 19:11 (NASB1995) “And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself. He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.”
