If you are a Coach, Mentor, Trainer and Assessor you know that its not easy to keep clients on the path to success. It's our job to support and encourage students to progress but this needs to be on their terms. Helping students realign and get back on track isn't a complicated process.
I have outlined a process that is really simple to implement and I hope you find this useful.
- Set up the time for a session
- Welcome and check in to get acquainted
- Build rapport
- Outline the situation
- Identify the objectives
- Identify what challenges and blocks may come up
- Assist the student to establish resolutions for the challenges
- Action and Accountability
When ending the session be sure to clarify all that has been agreed upon and follow up at the agreed time.
